I had previously posted my problem with recent inherited interference and thought at first it was PLT broadband equipment. A constant S7 on all fequencies in the spectrum on my Magnum S9. It was always there day in day out at all times of the day. FM wasnt too bad with a S3-4 but I could recall days before this when 19 UKFM at 4am would be a S0.
I have been preparing to call Ofcom to investigate the nuisance interference having already checked my own station/ qth for the cause. I used a 100amp leisure battery and turned off the mains, still there S7 on 555. So .....now as im about to call Ofcom and clear my shack of anything that would make the field engineers eyebrows head north the interference has ceased and for a period of a couple of days. However it has done this before and then re-appeared again then disappeared for a day or so. I have driven away from the house with the S9 in the car and as I drive around the corner the interference kicks in for about 5 houses.... so Im guessing the problem lies there.....however if it is broadband equipment why is there a 2 day lull?
