Its a simular principal,,if using wire the skypper is a 3 ele yagi with the front and back elements folded .A nice compact design and better gain than a moxy...
I tried to add a front element to my VK.....
ugh ughn...... swr went bananas so gave up...
I,v got mine going again and from the hills today chatted with John in Glostershire 2/3 on first contact then beam to beam 10db @ approx 60 miles although JEEEZ seen that guys beam...????
